Swamp Fever & Joe’s College Debt Delusion

Another sign of Swamp’s delusional management of taxpayers’ $ is 7 days after Pres. Biden may have illegally declared a college debt giveaway, he STILL can’t say what total cost is or how now-estimated $1 trillion price tag will be paid.

Fox News is keeping a “daily” running tab on the WH’s planned “plausible deniability” & most recently suggested Team Biden can’t answer the Q because it never did a “cost analysis of the massively expensive proposal to cancel between $10K & $20K.” Maybe, maybe not. But, economists tell Fox the lack of numbers being made public smells fishy. Says Fox, “fiscal watchdogs” are starting to fill in the blanks for the WH by now estimating the plan, rather than costing $300 billion as first announced, would cost taxpayers “anywhere between $500 billion to $1 trillion over the next decade.”

So, like a leaking faucet, the bad news keeps dripping out as each day goes by with the WH mouthpiece, Jean-Pierre, making one unbelievable excuse after another like, “we don’t know yet how many of the loans canceled were actually expected to be repaid.” Huh? Meanwhile, administration officials on the PR Circuit are trying to explain the cost of Joe’s college debt plan is “paid for” by an ingenious, multi-faceted deficit reduction plan, including, a “Anti-Inflation Act” that spent at least $369 billion to boost an economy that is technically in a “recession” because it SHRUNK the first two quarters of 2022. Besides Joe’s idea being panned by more legal experts on Constitutional grounds, we’re told many Dems fighting for their political lives in their upcoming mid-term (re)elections are getting an earful from “irate” constituents who feel like “chumps” for having paid for their education like any normal borrower used to. Swamp Fever. Get it?
