Swift Shakes Off Private Jet’s Rank No. 1

“Shake If Off” my a**. Environmentalist-celeb Taylor Swift excusing her obscene use of polluting private jet by saying her No. 1 CO2 ranking is thanks to loaners to other elites, da, only means EVEN MORE pollution.

Still, Swift via a spokesperson saw no contradiction when talking to TMZ in using the “Al Gore” misdirection. Rather, the critics are “blatantly incorrect” when saying the star is polluting the earth because (drum roll) most of her private jet’s 170 flights this year were carrying others, not her, since she’s not even been on tour. Swift, not known for her brain power, especially took heat from environmentalists when Yard, a sustainability marketing agency published a list of those “celebrities who are the worst private jet CO2 emission offenders.” According to Yard, Swift’s jet “racked up more than 22,000 minutes in the air, or the equivalent of 16 days” or “8,240 metric tons [of CO2] or 1,185 times more than the average person’s total annual emissions.”

Not that Swift is leading the pack by miles. Noted Fox News reviewing the Yard stats: “Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather ranks second as the ‘worst private jet emission’ offender emitting 7,077 metric tons of carbon dioxide while flying private this year, 1,011 times more than the average flyer annually. Other celebs “accused of not being climate conscious are Jay-Z, ex-NY Yank Alex Rodriguez, Blake Shelton, Steve Spielberg and Oprah!
