Taliban To Rule World Without Women?

Exactly how do Taliban leaders think their righteous culture will rule the world when they ban half the population from education & jobs to help support struggling families? How’s that test of God’s will going so far?

Not to judge or tell others what to believe or have faith in. And, we know all things are possible with God. But, as the WSJ’s recent report, “Afghan Women, Banned From Working, Can’t Provide for Their Children,” points out another obvious truth: “The Taliban’s increasing restrictions place a huge strain on women-led families.” It also puts a massive strain on the men in the family, the article notes, since it can “break” a given family when THEY can’t find work in a generally crumbling economy to pay the bills.

And yet, the Taliban seems bent on making a tough life in Afghanistan even tougher: “Since toppling the US-backed government in 2021, the Taliban has introduced a series of restrictions aimed at squeezing women out of public life, including barring them from most education. The employment ban not only restricts women’s ability to participate in society but also puts the livelihood of whole families at risk. Widows are especially vulnerable.” Indeed. God help them as only God can.
