As David Marcus recently wrote, “By not endorsing either candidate, the reliably blue union may as well be backing Trump.” Anecdotally, Marcus recalls his great-grandfather was a “Teamsters boss in Philadelphia in the mid 20th century who ran against Jimmy Hoffa for the union’s national presidency. I once asked him just how corrupt & mobbed-up the legendary Hoffa was, but Pop would never say a word against him. In his brogue, he would simply say, “Jimmy was a friend of da workin’ man.”

It's simple. A large percentage of the Teamsters Union have finally woken up and realize the woke Democratic Party is no longer for them, at least, so long as it’s dominated by the radical leftist pols within it. Shame. My Dad always hung pictures of JFK on the wall next to the Pope’s & Chicago Machine Mayor Richard J. Daley. Today, God bless his soul, he’d have hanging a picture of Donald J. Trump instead of Biden. Come to think of it, so would JFK’s dad if still among us.
