Theranos’ Holmes Guilty of Fraud As FBI Dawdled?

So Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes was found guilty in 4 of 11 fraud charges & stands to be jailed for 20 yrs each … but where was the FBI & why’d it take a WSJ investigation to uncover the massive con that allegedly began in 2010?

Apparently, the feds don’t watch how Peter & Neal do it in the popular who done it series featuring FBI prowess, “White Collar.” Yet, we can forgive the WSJ editors crowing a bit about its own “timeline of coverage of the blood-testing startup & its founder that extended over a 2-year period. That is, how in 2015 and 2016 the newspaper’s reporters “exposed how Theranos Inc.’s technology didn’t work, how the blood-testing company tried to cover up its failures [since as early as 2010] & how patients’ lives were affected & their health jeopardized.”

Meanwhile, Theranos & Ms. Holmes denied, denied, denied. The company would eventually settle investor lawsuits and suck up to the SEC before dissolving in 2018. The WSJ even reprints its damning articles on Theranos & Holmes … and, apparently, the FBI read every one of them … because THAT’s about when Ms. Holmes was finally indicted. Odds are Peter and Neal would have gotten this mess sorted out as fast as Ms. Holmes could say “the results are back.”
