Trump Musk Pivot To Promises Kept?

MSM keeps saying Trump “may” run in 2024, but No. 45’s many rallies say he’s BEEN in the race. In Alaska Trump predictably trashed Biden but finally focused on his OWN victories, too, not his you-know-what defeat.

It’s a start. Maybe. Let’s face it, Trump is Trump and that means he’ll continue to bluntly take on friends as well as foes. That includes an Elon Musk who voted for him. In his northern-most rally Trump called Musk another “Bull-Sh-- Artist” for bowing out of the Twitter deal; then used unrestrained hyperbole to exalt the ex-Alaska Gov. Palin (now running for Congress) who has mostly flopped so far on the national stage.

But let’s also put that predictable, irascible Trumpian bluster aside for a moment. As many pundits & pols on both sides of the political spectrum have opined, Trump’s 2024 chances hinge largely on his ability to put the “I was robbed” past behind & remind folks of his lengthy “promises made, promises kept” resume. The Dems, of course, are trying mightily to make folks forget about Biden’s forgetfulness as well as remarkable string of failures by tarring Trump with the Jan. 6 riot. If only Trump has enough discipline to convince enough GOP & Independent voters he deserves a second chance by consistently reminding them of the “Good Old Days” successes compared to the frightful now; then, cast their votes “early & often” as Joe's progressives did in 2020 …
