Trump Sheds Emperor Joe’s Naked Clothes

American voters, disgusted with nonsensical Progressive policies, intuitively saw Trump as the best CHANGE agent to do away with the Old Woke Empire’s policies favoring kid gender changes, climate excess & open borders.

So says, WSJ columnist Gerard Baker, who described No. 47’s triumphant return to the White House as more of a “revelation” than a “revolution” or “retribution.” Wrote Baker: “It’s an ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ event for America & perhaps for the rest of the West, an overdue recognition & repudiation of the regime of oppressive insanities we have been subjected to for a decade or more.” He invites us to remember “Hans Christian Andersen’s moral parable” in which “unscrupulous tailors … trick a vain monarch into believing their empty work is a fashion innovation” and his “ambitious courtiers  go along with the fiction to vie for the king’s favor,” while too many shocked peasants pretend not to see “the emperor’s nudity for fear of standing out from the rest.” It took, then, a “small boy who alone called out the truth in the charade.”

Well, Joe Biden & his Democrat courtiers were clearly the naked emperor & his complicit court, while Trump was the little boy with the guts to call Joe’s shameless woke ideology for what it was. Concluded Baker: “For a decade or more -- yes, even when Republicans have been nominally in control – we have been led by peddlers of a set of ideas that have clothed our institutions & the country in social & political doctrines, fake claims & strictures that have inflicted untold harms.” Put another way, it took Trump's yelp to help snap us out of our Progressive nightmare.
