This time, the controversial yet invited Mr. West supposedly “invited” the white nationalist Nick Fuentes without Mr. Trump’s knowledge.

Perhaps. The WSJ also notes how the ex-president “likes to test political boundaries” and is not too keen on exercising discipline let alone discretion in the company he keeps, intentionally or not. But, regardless, the WSJ argues, “publicly breaking bread with a white supremacist and a black fantasist has meaning and consequences.” Indeed, the end result is surely that Independents needed by Mr. Trump to win back the WH get turned off by those indiscretions. Maybe hire Mr. T to screen those showing up with Mr. West, now Ye, at the door? If you can’t control your admirers as a candidate in a fundraiser, how can you control them as a president in a constitutional crisis moment as on Jan. 6?
