Two’s Company, Three’s Crowd In Elected House Divided

The WSJ was right in hammering Hillary, Trump & Now Biden for so much as hinting our electoral process is “illegitimate.” The thought comes into focus & becomes really scary when one considers how deeply, if not hopelessly, divided our House has become.

The Hillary & Trump obsessions with either Russian or Dead Bodies costing them the presidency have been beaten to death so there’s no need to recount them here. But, the WSJ’s editorial understandably asks in real time, “What’s worse than a President who claims elections are a sham? Two Presidents.” It goes on to note a 3rd wanna be ex-First Lady piles on the joke with a drum roll of her own. But, more to the immediate point, they warn, was Mr. Biden’s disturbing recent comments as they “rolled the tape” when talking to a reporter.

Question: “Speaking of voting rights legislation, if this isn’t passed [and it wasn’t], do you still believe the upcoming election will be fairly conducted and its results will be legitimate?”

Biden: Well, it all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election … [Huh?] … The prospect of being illegitimate is in direct proportion to us not being able to get these reforms passed.” Depends nothing. As the WSJ concludes: “The danger as November nears is that if Democrats look like they’re in for a shellacking, the pressure to blame the voting laws will be intense. Swear it off today, Mr. Biden.” Two sour grapes were unnecessary company, three would be crowding the drunken field.
