Ukraine’s Zelensky No Trust Joe More ‘n Moscow Schmo?

WSJ editors say Ukraine Pres Zelensky is not only struggling to dissuade Moscow from invading, but begging Pres Biden to stop foolishly egging Putin on with ineffective threats. Simple solution: Offer to buy one of Hunter’s crappy artworks in return for Joe shutting up?

We’re told “Mr. Zelensky still believes an invasion is unlikely … and worries that dire public warnings from the US about a possible invasion are serving to amplify Russian efforts to destabilize Ukraine & its economy. Mr. Zelensky is a 44-yr old ex-comic who gained the presidency in 2019 with little more experience in politics than Mr. Trump when he became POTUS in 2016. Yet, shouldn’t he know by now what’s going on in his backdoor?

The WSJ suggests he’s at least worth listening to. “Allies say Mr. Zelensky is a sharp creative political outsider who has shed some of the naivete he displayed” early on vis a vis Russia and noted the nation’s currency has stabilized while its military is no longer a joke. Not that the many political, economic & military problems, let alone a reputation for corruption, aren’t continuing. But, one thing Mr. Zelensky has apparently learned, he can’t trust Joe any more than the Moscow schmo.
