UN Finds Cajones To Damn PRC Rights Horror

When even the Covid suck ups at the United Nation’s criticize Communist China for its human rights violations against the Uyghurs you gotta know “The Horrors of Xinjiang” are, well, horrific.

That does seem to be the case as this week the Office of the UN High Commission for Human Rights released a damning report on what the world has been telling it for years now, i.e., the blatant repression of Uyghur Muslims in China’s Xinjiang province. It even goes so far as to say “serious human rights violations” have been committed that might be “crimes” under international law.

WSJ calls the mere release of the report a “minor miracle” given “China’s furious effort to suppress it” ala its suppression of the deadly Covid outbreak. And yet, don’t get too excited that anything more than an embarrassing slap on the wrist will come of it as the most we can apparently hope for is “a debate and vote in the General Assembly and Security Council.” What’s the Chinese word for, “Ouch!”
