UN’s Cop26 Flies Off Climate Change Radar Over Menu?

Perhaps one of the reasons progressives have trouble enacting climate change laws is they misdirect themselves & the public with esoteric if not foolish minutia rather than focusing everyone’s attention on the main issues. The solution has always involved “Seeing the Forest from the Trees.”

An example may be the Fox News report noting how the “menu at COP26” was “mocked by climate activists over the meat & fish selections” given to President Biden & his entourage, along with hundreds of counterparts in the world (except China & Russia). (BTW, most of whom, in there mindset, unconscionably jetted to Glasgow rather than via zu fus or a cavallo.) They apparently pointed to one particular item that had a “significantly larger carbon footprint that the average meal in the UK.”

Joel Scott-Halkes, a climate activist & founder of wildcardland posted, for instance: “Meat & fish on the menu at COP26?! This is the equivalent of serving cigarettes at a lung cancer conference. Only when governments grasp animal agriculture’s central role in the climate crisis will we stand a chance of solving it.” Perhaps. Like the impact of farting cows. Or, perhaps the climate crisis will have a chance of being solved when we can tell a fowl from a poltroon?!
