Weed Advocates Make Covid Study Go Up In Smoke?

The weed industry might be right in dissing a new study on its product’s leading to more breakthrough Covid cases, but what’s distressing is its sounding like the tobacco industry in 1960 on cigarette health risks.

Is there absolutely, positively no way cannabis smoke can harm a person’s health even a little bit (let alone make him/her more susceptible to Covid) when you know what so obviously did & does? Fox’s take on the pandemic study published last week in World Psychology found “those with a substance use disorder – a dependence on marijuana, alcohol, cocaine, opiods & tobacco – were more likely to contract the coronavirus after receiving both of their vaccination shots.”

As if on cue, the National Cannabis Industry Assn reminded folks via Newsweek: “This study is limited to people with ‘substance use disorder’ which is a very small subset of cannabis consumers.” True. But, do we “need more study” to use our common sense to know putting any drug, smoke or dirt (even with protein rich decaying worms) in our mouths pretty much absolutely, positively will have some kind of a impact on our health and not just the kumbaya kind industry flacks have fed the public for so many decades?
