Woke Wild Avoid Progressive Public Schools?

Great example of DC political hypocrisy is in Fox’s “Biden, Pelosi, other top Dems sent kids to private school but oppose school choice” for the poor slobs outside the Swamp. How many privileged progressives here don’t?

Frankly, being Catholic living the past decade in and about the enriched, elitist DC area (i.e., outside its Forgotten inner-city neighborhoods, i.e., until election time), I DON’T KNOW MANY OF MY NEIGHBORS WHO DON’T PAY THE STEEP TARIFFS TO ENROLL THEIR KIDS IN HIGH END CATHOLIC SCHOOLS. As Corey DeAngelis told Fox News recently, “To them, apparently, only right people should have school choice.” Of course, the same can be said of the nearby elite protestant suburbanites of DC, Maryland (yo, Bethesda) and Virginia (yo Fairfax & Loudoun Counties). Ditto, across America as “private schools across the country reported seeing a significant uptick in enrollment over the past two years [during the pandemic] while public school enrollment declined on a national scale.”

Ironically, then, something good DID come out of the Covid lockdowns? As Fox concluded: “School choice has become a hot-button issue after the COVID-19 lockdowns shined a light on the scope of the government’s authority and gave parents [everywhere] a window into progressive public school curricula” gone woke wild.
