Women Need Grow Up 2 Be Cowboys?

If it’s right to blame a “Cowboy Mentality” for country’s worsening suicide rate among men, isn’t it necessarily right to also blame the incessant anti-masculine crusade in academia, the workplace, MSM & Hollywood per “Barbie” thrashing?

The Fox News story mentioned Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy’s warning about an “epidemic of loneliness” among men & focused on a NYU Prof’s related opinion in WaPo that the relentless “man up” upbringing of our nation’s males is the reason for a “Crisis in Connection” among men today. Prof Niobe Way struck a nerve in arguing how males are raised at all costs to be tough & never soft, to infuse a “can do it alone,” i.e, “cowboy spirit” into their very DNA. Many men can relate to that sometimes self-defeating “model”.

YET, what experts like Murthy & Way seem to invariably overlook is the equally debilitating anti-masculine mentality that has dominated the woke culture, seeped its way into mainstream society & at times cost these vulnerable men their pay raises, promotions & even jobs, let alone self-respect. Prof. Way, for instance, says “Women end up being the therapist for their husband & more are getting sick of it.” No doubt. Know what? Their suicidal men are likely sick of them & society pussy whipping them simply because of their gender. How could they help not being affected by the twisted reverse discrimination mantras bombarding them in today’s classrooms, media, bureaucracies & office places? As Senator Josh Hawley noted in his new book, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs,” masculinity “should not be a dirty word.” Is a “can do” spirit, after all, so bad in itself? Don't most women aspire to it, too? As Jim Owen argued in another new book, “Cowboy Values,” that undaunted “spirit” can also lead to personal & professional fulfillment thanks to its “authenticity, courage, strength of character, humbleness, chivalry & heart.”
