WSJ: Swamp’s Deep State Is Real

It’s official. The Swamp’s Deep State IS REAL. The WSJ’s Henninger said so. The FBI’s raid on Trump with AG’s blessing is, he suggests, the final exhibit for court of law & public opinion to consider. But, I knew all this yrs ago working for it…

First, it’s important to understand who the author of “Mar-a-Lago Search Shows the Swamp’s Obsession” is. Dan Henninger is a high-regarded, long-time columnist for the newspaper & has won numerous awards for his insightful writings on politics, policy & foreign affairs. When this man writes his Wonderland column, people take notice. In his latest installment, Dan unequivocally if cleverly explained the FBI’s unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago by describing “The Swamp, the Deep State, the Regime, the Establishment” this way: “Washington has become a very small town, inhabited by people inbred by profession, marriage, schools and cultural disposition. The imbalance between the capital and the nation has been a problem for a long time, but as we say, life goes on. Until Trump.” THAT raid, we can presume, was Henninger saying the last shred of pretense about The Deep State’s reality was finally ripped off for all to see as it desperately tries to discredit No. 45, who btw discredited IT.

And yet, I could have told y’all more than a decade ago after working at 3 international law firms for 17 years. They largely specialized in representing for AND against the federal bureaucracy & it was EYE OPENING. You see, that inherent conflict of interest described by Dan is exactly what makes the arrogance & hypocrisy of the DC Swamp so thriving, i.e., so lucrative. It’s like the Duke Bros. in “Trading Places.” Members of the incestuous brotherhood make their money whether the nation wins or loses it. As Fox’s Tucker once suggested, THAT is why we see the same incompetents run our show & how a Joe Biden could become POTUS or Merrick Garland AG.
